FAQ

This home is in the Greyhawk community. And the Greyhawk
community is one of the most prestigious in Scottsdale. Our house at
Fledgling is about 1 mile north of the 101 and Scottsdale Blvd. exit.
Just before you enter the community there is a small shopping center
that has some fine restaurants. There is Nicks that has excellent
pasta and Italian food. And then there is a take-out national chain PF
Chang restaurant. Both places are excellent. At this intersection you’ll
also find that you will start climbing into the high desert country. So I
think it is fine intermediate place to live where you can take advantage
of seeing the night sky and desert vistas during the day or driving
south on Scottsdale Blvd and taking part of the rest of the resort
community.

I had tenants in for New Year . They told me that when he and his
friends walked in they all said “Wow”. That was not only music to my
ears but my wife and I said the same thing when we first walked in the
house. All of our guests have agreed "The house is beautiful". Except
for the bedrooms the house is tiled beautifully throughout with
Travertine tile. There are plantation shutters also throughout the
house. And the pool gives you complete privacy.

As I said my wife did the interior decorating. It was my job to get and
hook up the sound systems and the appliances. For this property I put
in a Sony home sound system that uses 2 speakers in the ceiling and
a woofer on the floor. As well I have the music or sound piped out to
the patio. This all happens with a push of a button on the controller. I
have also put in Hi-speed Internet access. The TV is a large TV and
has cable input.

Dining Area and Living Room

When you walk into the Fledgling place (and after you say Wow!), you’
ll look to your right and there will be a glass table top on a stone base
very elegantly dressed for dinner. The alcove here sits just a couple of
feet from the (plantation) shutters where one can dim or meld the
lumens of light with the night. The lights beam down on the table and
one can adjust them for the right ambiance (BTW I have a pre-
decorated picture of this scene and you can see the real one at walk
through). Just above is a beautiful elegant couch and love seat just
across from the couch is a 4 feet stand with a lovely set of flowers that
adorns the room. After moving through the dining room and living
room, one comes to the entertainment area that is tangential with the
kitchen. Again I have put in a sound system that will enhance your
enjoyment of any music piece or video and there is wireless internet
access that you should be able to take advantage of from anywhere
on the property. The kitchen and bathrooms all have marble counters
that blend succinctly with the travertine floors. You will feel the
elegance of this home at any point within in. My wife is an excellent
cook and she put every tool into the kitchen so that any guest or
guests would be able to serve a gourmet meal at the gourmet table
out in front. There is also a breakfast table matching just in front of
the shutters in the kitchen. And when those shutters are open you
may have breakfast lunch or dinner looking at the pool.

Pool

The pool has a patio table and chairs and lights and speakers so that
our guests can eat outside and as well listen to whatever music
makes that food more palatable. The pool is heated and the
temperature can be brought up to a very warm 88 degrees. It's not a
hot tub but still very warm.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom….. wait till you see the King size bed and the
armour that’s inside. You will enjoy that elegance and sleeping on
such a soft bed. The bed is bit like the princess and the pea. There is
only one mattress and box springs however it is high off the ground to
give anyone lying on it the most comfort possible. The master bath
has a sink with marble counter and a snail shower. The shower has a
glass side to it and the company that developed this show put the
shower control at the rear of the show whereas the shower head is at
the front of the shower. One may adjust the water temperature without
being singed from the heat of the water as we typically are. Excellent
ingenuity on the part of the developer. The master bedroom has a
large walk-in closet and there is a TV in the armour in case you care
to convenient your movie into the bedroom. There are 3 smaller
bedrooms. They are all furnished with sleigh -style head board and
base. They each have a window covered by a (plantation) shutter. Two
of them have closet space while in the 4th bedroom we put a
matching beautiful chest of drawers.

Necessities
The home is equiped with wireless internet. There is of course high
end and brand new washer and dryer. The Garage is a 2 car garage
with 2 garage door openers and you’ll also be impressed that the
garage. It is epoxied. You may not see the functionality but it will
impress you. Additionally there is more than ample cabinet space in
the garage.

Greyhawk Location and Entertainment

Greyhawk again is a very elite area and I feel lucky to have purchased a home there. There are about 200 golf courses. The home at Fledgling is about 5 minutes from the Greyhawk
Public course. There are great many other activites as well. Just drive down Scottsdale Blvd. or drive up Scottsdale Blvd and there’s Rawhide. The homeowners association has
built 10’s of hiking and biking trails in the area. If you stay at this home, you’ll be in the beginnings of the high desert area Going north on 101 will give you beautiful vistas of the
desert. Just around the corner from the home is a variety of excellent restaurants. There is Nicks gourmet Italian food and there is a “take-out” PF Changs and and Aguealos
excellent mexican restaurant. If you go south on Scottsdale Blvd, There is major shopping area within 5 minutes with a Borders and several fine restaurants. You are still very close
to the Desert Ridge Shopping area. It is but 2 exits down on 101. You can be there in 10 minutes. I would say most people go to the Kierland Commons for their elite shopping and
browsing. PF Changs and the Cheesecake Factory are at the commons to name some familiar national chains and there are dozens more excellent restaurants at every inch in
